Commemorating the Day of the African Child

Yesterday Samuel, Pius, Rebecca-Joy and Freda celebrated at the commemoration of the Day of the African Child, and spoke in front of everyone who attended.

We are delighted that recently Victory Child Care Project was asked to participate in the planning and celebrations commemorating the Day of the African Child.

Yesterday Olivia, Brian and Juliette went to the Children’s Parliament event held at the SOS Children’s Village in Kakiri, along with Freda, Rebecca Joy and Samuel.

The main event is next Thursday 22nd June where the celebrations will begin with the children marching around Wakiso Town, and the theme for the day will be “Accelerating protection, empowerment and equal opportunities for children in Uganda by 2030.”
