Life at the Home, July 2021

Lockdown in Uganda has been eased, but there are still restrictions in place - schools remain closed, and many are still unable to return to work.

The staff at the Home continue to work extraordinarily hard, ensuring that the children in their care continue to receive the best education and life they can within the current circumstances.

Home schooling

All children continue to be home schooled, and have enjoyed the introduction of Music, Dance and Drama lessons.

The Secondary children receive their learning online which allows them to interact with their teachers.

The Primary children are using booklets for revision and are ably assisted by Teddy and a new teacher at the Home, teacher Mable.
