On Saturday 7th the Home received a visitor from Naalya Worship Harvest Church. The visitor brought gifts of school materials which included; 30 rubbers, 90 pens, 11 dozen pencils, 1 tin of sharpeners, 15 dozen crayons and 10 dozen exercise books. This package was a gift from “Love 316” which is one their church zonal home cells in Naalya.

He requested to come back with his home cell members for a visit on one of the Saturdays so that they can have ample time to interact and play with the children.

The children are all doing well at the Home and are all looking healthy. They receive good care and love from the house mothers. The staff members are committed, and join efforts in seeing that every child meets the appropriate development milestones in regard to their age and gender. Children are empowered with home management skills like cooking, washing clothes, cleaning the compound, house mopping, and cleaning utensils. The babies are assisted and supported to learn how to crawl, to sit, speak simple words, and learn rhymes in addition to training them on how to use a toilet.

As costs continue to rise, we need your help in raising donations so that we can continue to support these children and others like them in Uganda. If you are able to make a donation to support us, we would be most grateful!
